All our courtesy cars are now smoke-free

As of July 1st, all vehicles at a work place that are used by more than one person, regardless of whether they are in the vehicle at the same time will have to be smoke free at all times. This also applies to courtesy cars. The new law is meant to protect people who use the vehicle from second-hand smoke, regardless of when they use the vehicle.

Drivers of all convertible cars will exempt, as long as the roof is down when they are smoking.

As well as courtesy cars, car dealersips and garages will have to make sure that no smoking signs are displayed on their premises too. Failure to prominently display the signage will result in escalated fines of up to £1000.

Managers who knowingly fail to prevent smoking in a dealership  or bodyshop will face a £2,500 fine.

Ladies Days

Harishs Autos held their first ladies day on Saturday 9th September. Over 200 ladies turned up and were taught the techniques of basic car maintenance. More ladies days are planned for the future. Further news to follow ….
